យោងតាមការបង្ហោះផ្សាយរបស់ក្រសួងការពារជាតិបានឲ្យដឹងថានាព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ឯកឧត្តម ឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ឯក រ៉ាត់ ដារ៉ារ័ត្ន រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ បានដឹកនាំគណៈប្រតិភូនៃកងយោធពលខេមរភូមិន្ទចូលរួមកិច្ចសន្ទនាគោលនយោបាយការពារជាតិ កម្ពុជា–សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក លើកទី៤ នៅរដ្ឋធានីវ៉ាស៊ីនតោន សហរដ្ឋអាម៉េរិក។
នៅក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំនោះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ត្រូវបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍ដោយ លោកជំទាវ Lori D. Abele ឧបការីរងរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងសង្គ្រាមសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកស្តីទី និងសហការី នៅមន្ទីរបញ្ចកោណសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក។
ក្នុងឱកាសនៃកិច្ចសន្ទនានោះ ភាគីទាំងពីរបានពិភាក្សា និងផ្លាស់ប្តូរយោបល់ទៅវិញទៅមកលើការបន្តពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការយោធាទ្វេភាគីកម្ពុជា–សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក លើវិស័យសំខាន់ៗមួយចំនួនរួមមាន ការធ្វើសមយុទ្ធរួមគ្នា ការអភិវឌ្ឍធនធានមនុស្ស ការបណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការផ្សេងៗទៀត។
ជាមួយគ្នានោះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ក៏បានជម្រាបជូនបន្ថែមអំពីបច្ចុប្បន្នភាពនៃស្ថានភាពព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃផងដែរ ព្រមទាំងថ្លែងនូវការអរគុណយ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះការគាំទ្រនិងចូលរួមកន្លងមករបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកលើបញ្ហាព្រំដែនរវាងកម្ពុជា-ថៃ។
On 22 July 2026, H.E. Lieutenant General RATH Dararoth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defence, led a delegation of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) to participate in the 4th Cambodia–United States Defense Policy Dialogue (DPD) in Washington, D.C., United States.
During the meeting, H.E. the Secretary of State was welcomed by Ms. Lori D. Abele, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for South and Southeast Asia, and her delegation at the Pentagon.
On this occasion, both sides held constructive discussions and exchanged views on further strengthening Cambodia–U.S. bilateral defense cooperation in several key areas, including joint military exercises, human resource development, professional military education and training, as well as other areas of mutual cooperation.
H.E. the Secretary of State also briefed the U.S. side on the latest developments regarding the Cambodia–Thailand border situation and expressed his sincere appreciation for the United States’ continued support and constructive engagement concerning the Cambodia–Thailand border issue.
